Triggers

A workflow starts when a defined trigger fires. Triggers include: a contact being added to a campaign, a tag applied via CRM sync, a contact replying to a previous sequence, or a manual enrollment from your contact list. Every workflow must have exactly one trigger.

Actions and Conditions

After a trigger fires, the workflow executes a series of actions: sending emails, applying tags, updating CRM fields, waiting a defined period, or evaluating a condition. Conditions check properties like email open status, link clicks, reply detection, or contact attributes to determine which branch the contact follows.

Exit Conditions

Reach exits a contact from a workflow automatically when they reply, unsubscribe, or reach the final step. You can also define custom exit conditions: if a contact reaches a certain engagement score, gets tagged, or matches a specific attribute, the workflow stops and the contact is routed to your inbox or CRM stage of choice.
